No Coda stammen aus Schweden und veröffentlichen in den nächsten Tagen ihr Debütalbum „The Entire Cast“. Blümeranter Gitarrenpop mit tollen Melodien, unkompliziertem Songaufbau und einer frühlingshaften Atmosphäre. Gefällt mir beim ersten Reinhören richtig gut. Oder wie Tom Johnson schreibt: Sometimes it just comes down to the songs. Sometimes it’s as simple as that. NO CODA write songs, as many bands do, using guitars and drums and their voices, and yet despite this most conventional of concoctions the work that they produce sticks. It sticks in your head. It sticks somewhere down near your gut, in that place that comes alive when you hear something that matters, really matters, and makes a tiny dent on the insipidness of normality.
